What Would Julie Do?

Valerie has written, created and performed in this award-winning short comedy film, starring Julie Hesmondhalgh with a cameo from Julie Walters. Produced by Polari Creative.

It has finished it's Film Festival run and will shortly be available online.

RTS Futures 48 Film Challenge

Valerie co-wrote 'Tomorrow' with Producer Luke Davies which was written, shot and edited in 48 hours. The finished film was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award.

Inspector Hector Crime Detector

This short play was staged by Bluestocking Theatre Company at 53Two Theatre in Manchester. Starring (L-R) Saskia Pay, Victoria Tunnah & Kivan Dene and directed by Leni Murphy. The play was recently selected by The Cheshire Prize for Literature to be published in their anthology 'Humankind'

Poems

Valerie's poem 'Idolatry' was a prize-winner in The Liverpool National Women's Day Poetry Competition, 

and was published in L-Scene. Her poems have also been published in The Affectionate Punch and the In Praise of Poets Anthology by Anchor Books.
